The medical community will not tell you that it is inoperable. What they do is start passing you around to other doctors. "This is out of my scope of practice, let me refer you to Dr. (so and so) . He is better equipped to help you". Then you run around from doctor to doctor until you figure it out for yourself. I speak from experience. You will deal because when it dawns on you that no one can or will help, you except and start making plans.

Yes because I would live what was left of my life very differently if I knew I was going to die soon. I would want to know so that I could make the most of the time I had left, not spend time planning for a future I didn't have.

Sure I would. Then I could contact the elders from my church and have them pray with me about it.

"Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working. Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed fervently that it might not rain, and for three years and six months it did not rain on the earth. Then he prayed again, and heaven gave rain, and the earth bore its fruit. James 5:14-18

NO! I wouldnt want to know because then it would only make me feel more depressed. but on the other hand it would give my family time to understand how to deal with my death if i were to die.

It depends how serious it was. If it wasn't very serious then i wouldn't want to know because then i would be afraid of something that wouldn't affect me for many years. If it was serious i would becuase then i could say my goodbys.
