Most people agree that Michael Jordan is the greatest player ever. MJ has been asked many times who was the best defender he ever played against and he always answers, "Joe Dumars." While the footage is not necessarily Sportscenter worthy, if you are a true basketball aficiando, you will realize the subtleties of the D that Joe Duuuuuuuumars played on MJ. I grew up on the Pistons in the late 80's, early 90's and always enjoyed watching MJ go up against Joey D.

Michael Jordan vs Joe Dumars
To even use Kobe Bryant's name in the same sentence as MJ is a sin. Kobe is nothing but a spoiled burger flipper like Iverson.

Man you all have picked legendary match ups but I would have to say. Its Allen Iverson vs Stephon Marburry (Timberwolves) in a regular season game. It was cross over for cross over I mean it was a beast of a match up.

Magic vs Isiah in any of the NBA all-star games. I loved how they pushed the pace of the game.
