What is with everybody today and constantly need to prove that they are better than you? Why can't they just be nice and friendly?

the most important person in anyone's life is themself but if they have to prove it then they have low self-esteem. people can be driven by fear to be unpleasant to others but not everyone is like that so just keep away from people who don't like you. not everyone can like everyone. so it's natural to be competitive and go for what you want in life, but jealousy is just an excuse for being lazy.

The world is competetive and cut-throat... Everyone trying to get the better of someone else...
You need to just sit back and make things right with yourself and forget the rest... ;) Smile a lot and people will think you have the answers to the worlds problems or you've got a great lover!!!

the world will continue to get like this. Most people that I've meet, watched view kindness as a weakness and thus tend to think you are weak, which is ridiculous. You can use kindness as a weapon.

first what are they saying?
second why are you so concerned with what others say
third is it the truth? if it is then change yourself but dont do it for them do it for yourself. accept who you are and what you are willing and capapble of doing.

nothing happens if you do not communicate and are not honest with yourself and others
