i wanted to know as to in which week would the heart beat starts can it be felt my the mother?

You cant feel a babies heartbeat in your tummy. Only kicks, punchs, and hiccups!

The heart starts to beat very early, I think in the 4th week? The mother will never feel the heart beat, but you will start to feel the baby move around 18-20 weeks.

You can't feel the heart beats of your baby in the womb. You can listen to the heart of the baby through a stethoscope or an electronic device that your midwife or doctors will use, and usually they detect this at the earliest at 16 weeks.

You can not feel the heart beat, but they do make monitors you can purchase in baby stores now. You put it on your belly and you can listen to the heart and movement. You may feel something that feels like maybe a heartbeat. That would be hiccups. The babies get them and they can be very annoying at times.

No, the mother won't feel it, but she can hear it and see it on a fetal monitor. The heart usually starts beating between weeks 4 and 6.

You can't actually feel the babies heart beat, you can feel it moving around by about 18 - 19 weeks. If you feel a pulse it is probably your own.
Babies heart beat is only picked up by the midwife/gynea & can be seen on ultra sound.

You can see the heart beating at 8 weeks during the sonogram. You can't ever feel it inside you. What you will feel is kicking, hiccups, and punches at about 4 - 5 months. You can hear it though - sounds like swoosh, swoosh, swoosh - it's the most beautiful sound you will ever hear. Get ready to cry. Good Luck.

I don't remember feeling the heart beat but later on in the preganancy you can feel when they get the hiccups and that feels real weird esp. when you are 9 mo. and they are very low it gets kinda annoying. The dr. can hear the heart beat at just a couple weeks.

16-18 week of pregnancy the baby can be felt moving.
The heart beat can be HEARD not felt at about 13 weeks
It can be seen on scan much earlier

I never felt the heart beat of my kids, but you will sure know about it when they start to kick!

You feel movement in the fourth month but not the heart beat.Go to Walmart and get a monitor that picks up the babies heart beat.It is really exciting.They have them in infants .
