Drivers .... (don't assume the users have them, cause many if not all of my clients dont)

Wooo, I use exactly these things, mostly.

But I don't use toolbars for anti-spy. I use 3 things, Spyware Blaster prevents spyware from being "introduced" on the computer in the first place and supports IE and Firefox. And SpyBot - Search & Destroy, and Adaware from Lavasoft, toscan, detect and remove any I might get.

Also, Firefox blocks popups very effectively by itself so I don't bother with a popup blocker.

And I just use the Windows firewall, as I have not had problems and surf defensively and want to keep things simple, but for sure, if you feel you need a better one, by all means your choice is good.

But everybody will have his/her favorite software for a setup and you will get a ton of suggestions.

However, your suggestions provide a very good comprehensive
basis.

I can't say enough about using Ad-aware to help keep your computer clean from adware and SpyWare. When used in conjunction with SpyBot, you have a fairly clean machine.
