yes it is. read the news and think about it. India's GDP per capita is increasing, and the lives of the middle-class is getting better. There is however the fact that the poor are still poor.
There is a large pool of talented Indians out there.

Rapidly? Well the thing is India has always been expanding and growing much more faster than it did during the 70's and early 80's however during the 90's they have been up to speed. The difference now is that India has been brought to the fore front due to many of the new advancements that have struck a cord with officials in a variety of nations. I believe that many took India for granted during the years of incognito and in silence India conducted their own research and developments to stay abreast of new technological feats and remain competitive. It wasn't until China felt slightly threatened, although they will deny, that most of the world turned heads to notice India. With international trade, commerce, technology, textile, agriculture, production, military advancements, and now outsourcing among many other feats India is being recognized as a Global Pioneer and Leader and yet this is a country that prefers to never choose sides. They are definately remaining peaceful and loyal to their citizens without being in between international tug 'o' war however the corruption that lies within India will be something I believe will push the country to heed and take concern of better strategies to maintain law and order. Never the less as with many of their challenges they have always rose to the occasion as noticed for over centuries in mastering and perfecting the imperfection into art. India I would say is on the rise but not that any other superpower of the world should worry about. The country seems to be more peaceful than anything else in regards to its international relationships..... aside from the Kasmir border struggles and disputes amongs its own kind regarding religion or politics. The Age of Discovery and Advancement was a monumental event that India relished in many ancient centuries ago............. and it's still only the beginning of the time line.
