Some people get really serious about those kinds of sites so they try to reveal as much personal information they can. I would not recommend putting all your information at once, because then when you finally talk to that person or chat with them, then the mysteriousness is no longer there and you will have nothing to talk about. If you post pictures then use a recent one so that the person knows exactly what he or she looks like. Dont post a picture that makes you look the best, cuz you want them to think you would be a lot prettier in person.
Some people have really healthy and successful relationships when they meet online. I think its because they get to find about each other thoroughly before meeting since usually when you first meet in the offline world, its all physical. Online is intimate and you get emotionally attached rather than physically getting attached. If you think it will fit in with your life better, then go for it =)

Absolutely. I would meet this person and I did; that's how I met my wife. I met my wife on www.christiancafe.com. We have married for a little over 2 years now (June 5 is our anniversary). The funny thing is, this site has a 7-day trial period. At the time when I met her, I was already a paying member. She was still on her trial period. So, she got me for free.

Yes, quite alot (nothing to hide, well...except that one little stint in prison, but that's over now). Picture, sure. And yes, I've had a few good relationships that way. Of course, just like going to a bar, there are really nice people, and there are...'others'.
