yes. as your baby and belly grow. you will get growing pains. Just making more room for the baby. Dont worry unless it is unbareable, then go in.

Yes, the ligaments are getting loose in your hips to make room for the baby during childbirth, I know it's early, but your body has to do some amazing stuff!! You will feel achy from time to time and when you're really far along, it will hurt a little more because of the pressure. Just rest when you can mommy and take care!!

You know, I took interest in this question because a friend of mine had a staph infection in her joints (pretty sure it WAS her hip) that caused a lot of pain and ended up putting her on bedrest for most of her pregnancy. She wasn't happy at all. Now, I really know little about staph infections, and most likely you don't have one, but in both of my pregnancies I never had achy hips - back, yes, hips, no. Please tell your call your gynecologist's office this morning and tell the nurse about this. If you have no OB/GYN, then call a free clinic and mention the staph concern, so they take your question seriously. I mean no offense to free clinic workers, as I know they are very qualified, but I imagine that they might be a bit busier than their private sector counterparts, and may overlook small details in their busy day. That's all.

yes, as your baby grows so does your body. These are growing pains. Sounds like your going to be blessed with hideous stretch marks so your going to need to rub cocoa butter lotion on your belly at least once a day. It really does work. My sister has had 3 kids of her own and she don't have one stretch mark. Good luck!

Your pregnancy hormones trigger A LOT of symptoms which are caused by your body ready-ing for the baby. Your body is boss right now, and she KNOWS what she is doing.

Ah, yes and welcome to the club. I find that sleeping with a pillow between my legs helps at night. It keeps the hips aligned better. Good luck with the rest of the pregnancy!

yep!
your body is adjusting for the delivery already. your hips will widen a bit and your joints will feel like they are turning to jelly.
a really good tip:
get the book "what to expect when you're expecting"
i got mine at wal-mart.
it helped to prepare me for all kinds of symptoms, things to watch out for, diet tips, etc.
take care and congrats!!
