Jeter's game tying HR during the World Series against Florida in 2001.
He walked to the plate as the clock struck midnight -Halloween night. It became the first time MLB had been played in November.
Season was pushed back a week because of 9/11.
You could here the clock gong as Jeter walked to the plate. A real tense moment- Jeter rose to the occasion with a HR.

Bob Champion riding Aldaniti to glory in the 1981 Grand National (UK Horse Race). Both Jockey and Horse had just beaten a vicious strain of cancer. The doctors and vets hadn't given them much hope. The atmosphere from the crowds when Champion rode Aldaniti into the winners enclosure would have brought a tear to a glass eye.
Check out the slightly sugary film 'Champions' with John Hurt playing Bob Champion.

Hearing the call of the Miracle on Ice, "Do you believe in miracles? Yes!", still sends shivers through my body. That was a fantastic sports moment to live through, too!
That and the Red Sox winning the World Series do it for me.

The Netherlands beating West Germany at the European Championships Football 1988. The final goal scored by Marco van Basten. I can still hear the Dutch football commentator saying "The Volkspark Stadium is Orange ! !".
