Can someone please answer me this question, what has Cena done to make him controversial?? And i want an actual answer not just "Cena rulz".

What has he done in his career that is controversial, he gets booed out of every building he's in and he's supposed to be the "Good Guy", how the hell is that controversial??

It is a blatant cover up from the WWE becuase they don't want to acknowledge the fact that unless your under the age of 12 or are female, everyone hates John Cena and thats controversial??

The only controversial people that have been in wrestling are:

Paul Heyman
Eric Bischoff
Vince McMahon (If you havnt noticed so far none of these are even active wrestlers)
Steve Austin (He was the first anti-hero who got cheered for his actions)
Shawn Michaels

Thats just naming a few, but trust me John Cena and the word controversial do not belong in the same sentence unless it's, "John Cena is the opposite of controversial".

I totally agree with you, Cena isn't controversial at all but Vince keeps making the announcers say he is in false hope that the fans will eventually believe it. When Cena first hit the scene he had a good gimmick that caught on with fans of all ages, but after months and months of "hip-hop" Cena over kill the wrestling purist started to see that Cena wasn't anything but the gimmick, that's when he started getting booed out of the arena's.

There's such a huge lack of fresh/talented baby faces on Raw, Vince wants everyone to love cena again, like they did when he first got his push. But I doubt that's gonna happen. I think Cena's an OK wrestler and has decent skills on the mic..but he's definitely not controversial.

I agree. I think that some people are just getting tired of having Cena be the Champ. But he is a great wrestler. I think the controversial part is the whole "language" problem, that most people say he has. And you said yourself that the only people that like him are boys under the age of 12 and females. What would you think if you child under 12 was watching his fave wrestler say "First im gonna whip your ***, then im gonna whip your ***." (drop the mike and start beating people up) I guess its your position. Looking at hm as a long time WWE fan, no hes not controversial, but from a parents perspective, he probably is.

John Cena is controversial because he is the most questionable champ ever. He was promoted as a good guy, but fans turned on him all of a sudden. His in-ring skills were questioned, and he always finds himself in a tough spot with guys like Triple H and Kurt Angle. Cena may have been the first brawler to become WWE Champion, and many thought that only "grapplers" had the right to hold the title. And right now, he is in the forefront of the WWE-ECW war. While Smackdown! remained hush about the war, John Cena, and the rest of the Raw brand, battled ECW on enemy turf. Cena also had the audacity to attack RVD in the ECW arena, considering the fact that the ECW fans were saying lewd and foul language to him! I gotta admit, Cena is definitely the scene stealer of 2006.

Nothing!

John Cena, no matter what, even if he plays a heel, will still have that baby face quality and would in no way, be controversial.

He's definitely not controversial. I think the reason he is getting booed (he shouldn't because he rules, sorry, had to say it) is because he went against Triple H, i noticed that ever since his big fight with HHH everyone boos him......i think it is because nobody is used to HHH getting beat so they didn't like it........now he gets booed

Your right. The only controversial thing that he's done is thinking he can wrestle.

The reason, I thought he's getting boo'd is that his style is getting stale..
Did get pretty boring that was champion for two years.
Stone COld was just a drunken loud-mouthed redneck that couldnt wrestle himself out of a paper sack

please pay attention , they are setting him up to be a heel . and people don't boo him out of every arena , just the last 2 months which was all set up by storylines , the bottom line is that if wwe wants you to like him you will , if they don't you won't . it is all storylines . you forget to mention kurt angle who was a heel yet everybody cheered for him
