what are the pros and cons of getting a nintendog?

I am trying to convince my parents to get me one. please help.

It really is a cute little game. My daughter got one from her grandmother for Christmas. It has totally stopped her from asking for a puppy...now she wants a guinea pig. Tell your parents that you'd stop asking for other stuff.

Pros: You parents WILL play with the game, too. It's adorable.
Cons: They might develop carpal tunnel from trying to pet a half inch dog with a millimeter sized stylus.

Also, tell them that you will save your money (or "raise" some money like my kid says! LOL) to help buy it and they'll never smell poop or have to buy food for your puppy or puppies.

Also, this is one game that somehow did not distract her from her homework and other chores for some reason. Although, we did have to rush home a few times to feed the Nintendogs. Well, we WERE out of town.
