Try to get another job!
It is not wort it to be around liars and managers who are not capable to see the truth!

That is a truly difficult situation. It hurts when a liar and a cheat is trusted more than a person of good actions. The only wise action is to seek to go where you can be appreciated. The only consolation is the consideration, “Do you really want to work somewhere where dishonesty is prized more than ethics? Is >that< the type of place for someone as valuable as >you

One can always talk to someone that is above the manager. Relay to the person of authority exactly what is happening and try to provide as much evidence as you can.
If the above fails, then go to the provincial/territorial ombudsman. Then if that don't work, go the human rights advocate where-ever you live.

It depends on situation. Sometimes you feel that defending your idea could lead you to a safe situation and sometimes you have to wait quietly for a suitable situation when you can defend your condition. Anyway, sooner or later I think a person should protest if anything goes wrong to him. But the working procedure has to be chosen deftly by him.

I would suggest looking for another job if that person is so "in" that it is not a battle you can win. In the meantime document everything you do and cover your butt. if the battle or the job is worth fighting for and you think you can win (i.e. you cant win if she has been there 20 years, is the only one who knows how to do a certain job, is the boss' sister-in-law, goes to lunch with the boss' boss, etc.) then take it to the next level above your supervisor or to HR.
