The best advice would be to download a free trial of a product called Prevx1. This currently offers the strongest protection and removal capabilities of any security product available, and also won't cost you a thing!

Go to http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html and download "avast! 4 Home - English version (length 10.82 MB)". It's free and does a very good job at finding and removing viruses.
For spyware you can download for free Windows Defender at http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/default.mspx.
I think Spyware Doctor is better though but it does cost $29.95. You can find it here. http://www.pctools.com/spyware-doctor/

Well may be you try an online scan service or you downlaod an antivirus demo but that would only last a while. then you scan and clean your system.

Do a google search for free antivirus softwares...some are demo softwares that work for about a month or so.....also look for some CD that come with Computer magazines, they also have such softwares......
ok i just did a google search...www.Stop-Sign.com this says free scans....try it.

download Spybot from www.Spybot.info and Avast! AntiVirus from www.Avast.com they both are free and are excellent.

reinstall windows and use the same antivurs application....
or use Antivurs of some other company...
