That depends on the kid!
My step-daughter learned to ride on two wheels at 5.
My oldest learned to ride on two wheels at 3...she's a dare-devil!
My middle child learned to ride on two wheels at 6, she's a safety-loving kid!
My youngest will probably be like my first.....he's only 1 so....won't be long! LOL
If your kid is ready to ride on two wheels....doesn't matter how old they are! Just make sure they can handle the falls. and make sure you get them a helmet and knee and elbow pads!!

I was 6 when I got my first bike with training wheels. But I think that depending on the child it would be when motor skills develop enough for the to have developed the sense of balance reuired to operate a bike. I would always under supervision until they are 6 or even 7 if they are below that...and remember the helmet

I think that a kid should learn how to ride a bike at the age of 4. I say this because their are different kinds of bikes. You start them off with training wheels and when they feel as of they are ready then you take the training wheels off.
