Only if you wish. Swiss banks offer you accounts in any convertible currency.

You just have to be aware of some fees, for example 0,5% will be charged when paying in or withdrawing foreign currency in cash of the corresponding account.

yes assuming it is a swiss franc account
the deposit will automatically revert to whatever type of currency acount you have
for example ; if you have a US account then your deposits will change over to US money when it goes in

It depends what kind of account you open.
If its a swiss bank account it will be in their currency .. you might want to specify this.
I am sure they also have US accounts ...
