Would you give that person 10 points if they've responded 1st?...Or, award the points to Someone else...who's had a couple days to Craft a Better, Personal, answer?

People do this because they do not think independantly. They're afraid to use their brain. It's one thing to quote a source, but it's another to come up with an idependant thought that is original of outside influances. They also like to try to pass themselves off as intelegent when they are really stupid, and they avoid answering the question themselves, go looking for the answer and learn the copy and paste method. This earns them atleast 2 points, and many people fall for it.

I quote the dictionary when I think someone, especially a non-English speaker, is asking what a word means.

I have received several Best Answers for doing this, and they always thank me. They say things like, "Clear and precise."

They do it to try for the 10 points. I automatically don't vote for them.
