He wants to move to a southern city that he loves. We've been dating for 2 years and he once "accidentally" proposed to me. He said "would you marry me" and I said "maybee" and he then said "I'm asking you now". I don't know how that's an accident but anyway..

If he asks me if I want to move again should I say "why would I follow a boy around the country that hasn't even asked me if I would marry him. I could follow you for the wrong reason and have wasted a part of my life".

Do a lot of people move with their bf/gf if they're not that serious yet?

If you are questioning this right now as you are, then I would say yes tell him and then DON'T move with him. You are actually questioning the realationship that you have with him. This being, I would say you are not ready to make a move like this. NOT with him anyway. Making a movew like this is a big thing even tho it may sound minor. Your away from family and friends and don't really have anyone where your moving too. So if you do have a spate with the boyfriend, who do you turn to for talking type stuff. You need that at the least. So overall, I'd say no, don't do this. NOT right now anyway. Good luck in whatever you decided to do. If ya want keep me posted or send e-mail if you want to talk.

Follow your instincts....don't go anywhere with him. He is using you for a security blanket. Besides, you have plans and dreams you want to accomplish, right!?
This is a clear indication of when it's time to go your seperate ways. If the two of you are meant to be, then a little time apart will only serve to strengthen the two of you....or prove how both of you should have never been together to begin with.
His proposal was lame. He doesn't really know what he wants with this relationship. This kind of behavior is a forceful act, not natural. Let him go. In a few years, if he comes back, see what has changed and go from there.
Don't waste any time on a person who will derail you from your dreams.

He loves you. But you are not so sure about your feeling that he is the one for you. Your answer "maybe" means that you are thinking about it. If I am that guy, I will wait until you can come out with clear head. I can even promise you to stay with you wherever you like for the rest of your life. If the guy can't do that he is clearly not the one for you. His proposal means nothing. Let him go.

oh my
dear girl

first you should think well if you love him or not

than if he loves & respect you

than speak again with him about the proposal issue. without communication a relation cant go well

tackle the moving issue after you sorted the others...

2 years is pretty serious, so i can see why he asked you to move.

and he DID ask you to marry him in his own bumbling way.

So -- ask him to marry YOU! That is, of course, if you want to.

If you DON'T want to marry him, then you are right -- don't move!
