in an old superman comic superman explain how he uses his super hypnotism (yes this was a real power back then) and it makes clark look like a different person and in the first few panels he's looking in the mirror saying something about how its just superman in a suit and glasses and later in the story when he has have every one in the city not belive any hypnotic suggestions and people catch him half dressed as clark and the only see superman

If Superman would just stay away from Clark's friends... it would be quite easy to pull off. Nobody in another city knows anyone from anyone else. Even people who see Superman would not be looking for a human who looks similar.
If Britney Spears put on a cape and tights everytime she went out on stage, you would not notice a business woman with glasses and her hair up.

it's because people like Lois and all them are blinded by thr truth...Lois sees what she wants to see because of love, hate and competing with Clark who she thinks as a older brother. People are boring compared to Superman and that is one reason they dont see Clark as him...they ignore Clark and Superman is in the spotlight. They would need to see Clark fly just to be shown the truth. People see what they want to see and Clark is just another exception in that case.

If they acted like they knew that Clark and Superman were the same person, then they would be forced to expose him to the public to the point where everyone was sick of seeing or hearing about him. So if they pretend that he doesn't exist then it's okay.

He also doesn't wear tights that make everyone slightly distracted from the obvious. Plus glasses and a slightly different hairstyle always work in the comic books.
