i don't think that would be a quite plausible cause for break-ups. sure, women who don't like football feel neglected but it's only a matter of a month, once every four years. on the contrary women should seize this opportunity to do things that their bfs or husbands would in normal circumstances won't approve. things usually go unnoticed during this period! like go for shopping n spend their money or anything else!

Think about it, a lot of guys get ignored when the soaps are on tv, and they are on 7 days a week.
If women are getting ignored because of football for one miserable month, then am all for it.
