Why are stockings sexier than pantyhose?

Some women hate pantyhose but wear stockings instead and say they're sexier than pantyhose. My question is "What's the difference when all you see from the skirt down is the hose?" Men are attracted to the hose part regardless if they're pantyhose or stockings. People can not see what you have on under your dress, so why is one sexier than the other? Maybe the questions regarding pantyhose should be edited to "How many woman like to wear hose?"

I don't think everyone's getting what I mean by difference. I'm not referring to the top part of the hose or the comfort factor. I'm focusing on the hose part that covers the legs. Let's take Hanes for an example. Hanes has Silk Reflections that comes in styles of pantyhose and stockings. Why do you say the stockings feel better to the touch? They're both made out of the same material. That is why I asked a legitimate question.

As far as little Miss "Hotstuff" compairing me to a stalker...Well I don't appreciate that at all. Are we not allowed to admire someone by the way they dress? I don't have to look up a dress to get turned on. I'm not like alot of you sick people that only think about getting laid. You sound like a bunch of high schoolers. And for your info, I don't have to date girls because I'm married to a sophistiated women who wears hose all the time. So don't pull that crap with me like I don't know what the h*ll I'm talking about.

Oh please....i think that was just plain rude to say....I think some people judge other people too quickly before you really know the person....I do agree with you on that women look sexier with any kind of nylons on....It does not matter whether its pantyhose or garter belt with stockings.....Its just a matter of preference and or comfort.....Nylons are nylons....Even though stockings might be considered more sheer and slippery to the touch, but I also find that if you buy the pantyhose that are in the $10 to $15 dollar range in which are silken sheers or ultra sheers they are too slippery to the touch....The only difference between pantyhose and stockings is that stockings have the edge in easy access to sex and bathroom....I think its all good though.....Just my opinion...

Well I wear both, and was just recently converted to stockings. I think the big difference is that pantyhose are like wearing a support garment, they cover everything up on top. That is why most older women like them, whey will hold up a soft butt and keep the knees and upper thighs tight and free from jiggling.

Stockings are free and easy. II always wondered why the "Tom Boy" and "Jock" type girls wore them, but now I see why. If your legs are in really good shape, and believe me walking around in heels all day is a good way to keep them that way, stockings do give way more freedom.

Then there is the nylon that they are made of. You referred to Hanes, well they make about 1% of the stocking market which is now dominated by France and Britain where they still make stockings of 100% non stretch nylon, which is the thinnest and most slippery and sexy materiel you could ever wear. It makes silk stockings look like granny stockings it is so delicate. I was just given a pair of Hanes Retro reproduction stockings, which are made to the specifications of the Hanes stockings on the 60's when they made a World class stocking. They are unbelievable. And when teamed up with a garter belt they do give such a sexy feeling to the wearer, especially when brushing against a skirt it really has to be experienced to understand. Get some for your lady and let her explain it to you.

Jeez, most guys go out on dates with a girl, and know what she is wearing, not just looking on from a distance. Don't you ever date girls? When you put your hand on a girls leg, and she has a garterbelt on, you can feel the straps, and you know that there is nothing to hinder your sexual advances. Same with hold -ups, You can usually feel where the elastic top ends. Then the guy's wonder if the girl is wearing a thong, g-string, or maybe even going commando, with nothing at all.

Your questionis really creepy, like a stalker. When is the last time you were with a woman, or do you just stand off at a distance and look at their legs?

When we talk sexier, we mean sexy, as in having contact with the other sex, and ultimately having sex. Not peeking and observing at a distance. Thats why pantyhose arn't sexy. The tops are a mess, cover up your nice lingerie, and you have to take them off to do anything, so you may as well wear nothing to start with.

Stockings feel better than pantyhose, because they are more sheer and slippery, because they do not have removed to have a good time like pantyhose. There is a freedom walking around in stockings, feeling your legs covered in slippery nylon, while the rest of you is unincombered. Pantyhose hold in your butt, and when you walk you feel like you are wearing a girdle. stockings allow you to move around as naturally as the bare leg girls, and still have the beautiful sheer nylons on your legs. Get the picture?

You need to get a girlfriend before you will really know the difference.

I don't understand your question. How many women would wear hose? I don't know where you are from, but where I come from every woman over 16 wears hose when they dress up or go to a decent job. It is not a rarity, but an everyday occurrence. The question is what type of hosiery do they prefer, and why, because are not worn for your amusement alone.

Pantyhose are terribly uncomfortable and not very practical, and are probably responsible for the trend away from hose. My mother tells me that when she grew up in the ' 60,s every girl over 13 wore stockings every day, or were laughed out of school for being a nerd.

Well, I prefer stockings and a garter belt because they are sheerer and slipperier than pantyhose and even thi-high hold-ups. I like the look and feel of real stockings, and that is my choice. The guys who are lucky enough to see what I wear are unanimously in agreement that they are much sexier than hold ups or pantyhose. Because you will never get to see it, you should get some for a girl, and check it out for yourself.

Maybe men are attracted to legs with hose, good for them, but the ones who actually get to date the girls wearing them, prefer stockings for obvious reasons, But this is not about the men, it is about the women. How dare you think that the only reason women wear hose is for men? women wear them because they have self respect, want to look professional at their jobs, maybe for warmth in the winter, and maybe because they like the feel of soft feminine things next to their skin. One of the reasons is that nobody wears full briefs anymore, and pantyhose cover everything up and its hot and uncomfortable.

Another reason id that you have to pull them down every time you go to the bathroom, and stockings stay where they are. You just wear your thong on the outside of your garterbelt, or if you have honl ups on there is nothing in the way. Many girls go commando in the summer.

Third reason is that they are way better quality, and look $40.00 panty hose which most people can't afford, and you can change one leg at the time it you get a run in your stocking.

The last reason is that they are sliprier and nicer to toutch, and feel very sexy to wear, and if the occasion arises you don't have to pull them off to have sex, you just go to it cuz there is nothing in the way. You think men like pantyhose, but the men I know would rather have me wear nothing than pantyhose, they are such a turn off to look at. You poor thing, you must never get close to a girl to take her clothes off. tey do look dimilar with a skirt on, but when you see the whole thing, there is no comparison. How can you compare a translucent pair of coveralls, to a thong, garterbelt and stocking combinatien.

Dude, are you whacked or what? When is the last time you got laid? How can you even compare pantyhose to stockings. They cover up everything important. soft thighs, beautiful butt, and most of all, how do you get to the crotch? Pantyhose are for old ladies, they are ugly to look at and impossible to have good sex in. What you gonna do, tear a hole in them?

You can't have good sex that way. You want to spend time down there, nibble on those tender thighs, caress that round butt and and do all kinds of things before you nail her. It just can't be done with a girl wearing pantyhose, but with a girl wearing stockings, it just makes it better.

I think its because they make the legs look nice, without that awful top. Nobody wears full panties anymore, and they have this terrible waist band with all this thick nylon attached to it. It looks like somebodies grandma underwear.

Stockings are even nicer on the legs, and they don't cover the top at all, so you can wear whatever you please and it is a lot sexier for girls to wear and guys to look at.

Are you nuts? they aren't even in the same league Pantyhose have old lady crotches. Everybody my age wears thongs. Why would I want all that stuff around my crotch. It covers up your lingerie if you wear it, and you have to pull that whole mess down to pee.

And why would a guy want to see all that nasty stuff, it covers up all the good parts that guys are supposed to like like butts, thighs, and puss. Why should girls bother getting bikini waxes if you guys dig pantyhose?
