Such glasses I believe works on the same principle as like the
X-Ray machines installed at airports to check contents of luggage.

You will need:
- regular glasses
- one X-Ray machine
- some duct tape.
Tape the X-Ray machine to the glasses, in such a way that the screen faces you.
Voila!

something strong enough to see through common metals is not going to be portable enough to pack into binoculars.
