Well, FORNIDO has the best true answer. What a stupid question--akin to the likes of -----are female wrestlers, pool players, etc gay? how about that! see, stupid. sexual orientation has nothing to do with anything sports or sports-related. When you are destined to use the right side of your brain you are simply more artistic and sensual. period

No, not all ballet dancers are gay or destined to be gay. That has to already be in you.

If you are a male wanting to take ballet, but are afraid to be stereotyped, don't let the world steal your joy. You only live once, do something you like!

No, most of the male ballet dancers are not gay at all, I believe that myth comes from the fact that as dancers they spend many hours surrounded by women, therefor have to learn to treat them under their conditions. Also it´s believed gay men have more grace than normal men as they are not afraid to look girlish, society forces dance to be only a female art by criticising men,a good dancer should start when his young, and sensitive to this comments, for this reason there are very little men dancers.

NO, at least i don't think so. I'm a girl ballarina and I work with tons of guy ballet dancers who are not gay. If there is a gay male ballet dancer they were already probably gay before they started dancing. But if they aren't gay before they start ballet, chances are they won't turn gay.

No. Destiny is made by individual, it has nothing to do with being a ballet dancer or not. Why not question: are gays destined to be ballet dancers? Answer would be no too.

Of course not!!
I was a ballet dancer a couple of years ago in High school, and I went out with a ballet dancer, and he was so sexy, so strong...and not gay at all!!All the girls loved him!(he was a complete idiot unfortunately!!!)

Seriously, some of them are gay, but they're really though boys, holding girls very high and jumping very high.
They work as hard as in any other sport but they work for the sake of beauty and grace...

I have a lot to do with male dancers in my life, ballet dancers too, and I can tell you that though a lot of them are indeed gay, a lot of them aren't.

Nonsense. Do you want to be a ballet dancer? They're the stuff of female romantic dreams. Not every man is cut out for that.
