the funny bone as it is called is really a sudden pinching of the ulnar nerve. It is a nerve that runs down that side of your arm to your wrist and will also give you trouble if you lean on you elbow too much

yap it'a funny feeling caused by a nerve touching and I like it. plus when you knock your right elbow it's said by a superstition that you are going to meet a boy/male. a woman for your right, a friend or something like that.

The nerve that controls your arm is located right underneath your funny bone. When you hit the nerve, your arms goes into a temporary shock. Be glad that it is just funny. I hit my elbow so hard one time that my arm went limp for about a minute.

Ulnar nerve runs through a groove that is between two condyles of Humerus(upper arm bone).The nerve is very near the skin.A hit on the nerve gives that special feeling.
