Alot of the guy's in the US seemed to think before the World Cup that the Ranking of fourth in the wolrd was realistic. I kept telling them the FIFA rankings are a joke..
What do you think.. are they going to beat Italy or get thumped!!

Let's put in this way:
On paper they don't have chance at all...
a weak defense;
an ineffective middle field;
and a joke of an attack...
It's one of the most inexpressive teams playing in this World Cup...
On the other hand...
Their pride is at the stake...
I do believe they will offer some resistance to Italy... but at the end Italy will win...
My Guess: 0x0 or 1X1 or 3x0 Italy

They play with alot of spirit but I dont think thats gonna get them across the line with Italy. I'll admit Italy wasn't that impressive against Ghana but the US doesnt have enough defence skills to deal with the likes of Del Pierro or Totti

there's little chance that the USA goes thru' the next round, if no chance at all! if they continue to play like they've done against Czech Rep, there's no way that they can beat Italy. i guess the most they can do is to hold the Italians in a draw... a far-fetched scenario? who knows, anything can happen in football

I think the rating of FIFA is just nothing. US have rather good team but they shouldnt be in top 5. and, am very pessimistic about their chances in the world cup.
