because rich people use their money to make more money. poor people get stuck in their jobs living paycheck to paycheck.

Put simply, the rich know what they're doing when it comes to money (they can make money even when they have no money or the market is down), whereas the poor/middle class don't (they listen to the standard dogma of "save, get out of debt, get a good job, etc")
You can listen to it right here, actually, from an expert:

scroll down and click on "Why the rich are getting richer."
Hope it helps!

It's all about money managment. and this is something you need to be trained in (your parents) and practice (your friends and family especially your kids!). how to become rich? do a good job- find out how to make yourself more valuable to your company and do it, save as many pennies as you can, believe in compounding interest. and realising ANY failure, is a success in itself. triumph is making that realization pay off.

Success builds confidence...confidence builds success.

Failure begets failure ... you need to break that cycle.
