he is far more talented than a lot of premiership players. though some may be more skillful, not many can read and react to the game aswell as he does.aged14 he scored 4 times from free kicks in one season. from inside his own half.(Beckham who.) the kid is a natural leader.

sounds like you want it more then your kid, which is not a good sign because it adds to the pressure to succeed.

Get him trying out for County teams, play for a local club, try joining a youth organisation which has sporting competitions (that he is interested in) like the ATC. We have all levels of football up to National (representing the Corps) and he is the right age. Good luck to him, whilst I hat football he deserves to have every chance to excel!

You need to send him to an academy, so he can get some football trials. That's the only way he'll get noticed. And you need to do it soon, cuz 17 is quite old already. If he's as good as you say he should be with a team and training already. So get him out to some trials and get him SEEN!!

of ocurse this is easy for you to say.
you have to pester clubs for trials or keep an eye out for when they happen. Everynow and then they will invite players to attend.
Unless spotted by a scout its not that easy and if he has the talent you say he does then a scout will spot him!
gooood luck!

As with all of us, if you are reaaaaaaaaally talented, you will make it, the hard thing is to stay focused on your goal, so here's my tip: keep doing what you do best, work 200%, remember, even the "stars" in this world work 24-7 to achieve their goal.....................
Maybe it helps to read a few biographies of famous foorball players and see how they got spotted..................
