I'm going to make a generalized statement and say someone who can take a potentially devastating situation and turn it into a positive example for others to strive for. Someone who, without question, accepts the responsibility of circumstances they helped to create and see them through to a successful conclusion.

Diana Princess of Wales. She was a princess, but there are many princesses in Europe, none of whom ever came close to capturing the popular imagination the way she did.

She became the patron saint of victims, the sick, the discriminated against, the homeless. Then, partly through her real suffering Diana herself projected a compelling image of victimhood. Women in unhappy marriages identified with her; so did outsiders of one kind or another, ethnic, sexual or social.

And finally she became the ultimate victim of her own fame: pursued by paparazzi.

It's a toss-up between my hubby and my daughter.
My husband, because of his sincerity, his honesty, his love of life, his unselfishness, his patience, his ideals, his intelligence, his strength, and his willingness to stand up for what he feels is right.
My daughter, for her unbiased affection, her love of life, her eagerness to learn; her willingness to accept everyone, regardless of their colour, age, religion, or oppinion on something; her joy, and the way she just seems to 'know' sometimes, even though she can't yet speak.

I have much to learn from both of them. My husband, and our beautiful daughter; and that I see so much of him in her; the way she acts, the way she looks; the things she does, are so much like him that it melts me sometimes. It may seem strange, the fact that I'm humbled by something so simple, but I learn much about myself, watching them.
