My husband's parents always favour my husband's bhabhi.she takes undue advantage of this. She always give wrong statements about me to my mother -in law.Iand my husband live with the parents and other brothers live separately. My mother -in law is always ready to oppose me and insult me even in front of the maid
I got married 6yrs back and I have no patience left to tolerate them.My husband is very much attached to his parents so we ca'nt even think of living separately.please advise me how to tackle them without misbehaving with anybody.

Wow, tough situation. I would have say as the bibles says it....Forsake all others. Meaning you and your husband comes before all others. Talk to your husband and explain to him the situation. Communication is the best. Close to parents or not your husband has to move on with his own life outside of the parents house. Moving out of his parents house is not going to change his closeness to his parents. Just sit down with your husband and your mother in law and lay it on the line. She should not disrespect you and should not disrespect her so talk to them and voice your part as the wife. Good Luck!!!!

your husbands parents favor his what???maybe she is jealous and wants him and if she makes up lies about you she can get him to herself.you can ignore the mother in law i do mine and i've had my hubby for 30yrs,of course i don't live with his parents and they don't have a maid either and if they did after all she is only a maid who cares what she thinks if you know in your heart you are a good person and you are doing right by your husband than don't worry what others think, maybe your husband should grow up and be a man and get you your own home,if he really loves you he would put a stop to all this crap
