when the state of israel was set up in 1948 the allied forces who had just won wwii took some territory which had historically usually been regarded as arab and gave it to jewish people displaced by the war and the other ethnic turbulences in europe and america to set up their own state.

this suited the americans and the europeans - who exported a lot of their own jewish problem to the new state. it didn't suit the arabs so well - as far as the arabs were concerned a huge chunk of their country had just been taken off them by the playground bullies.

between independence and the 'six day war' (1967) the arab states bordering israel made various efforts to just get rid of this foreign country dropped in the middle of them.

after the six day war - when israel demonstrated that with american and european backing it was just too big to be 'pushed back into the sea' - the more sensible arab states realised that even though they didn't like israel it was here to stay.

so it isn't really that jews hate arabs. it is more that arabs don't like having jews take a slice of 'their' country (and the jews know this).

Is your Q why do "jews" hate arabs? The issue is more why do Arabs hate Jews..but yes, my friend there is a reason. Go to your Bible and read the whole of Genesis...It is simple. God made a promise to Abraham and Sarah that He would bless them w/ a child which many nations would come thru...too numerous to count....well...A & S got "antsy" waiting and figured they would "help" God along w/ His promise...Sarah took her "Arab-egyptian" maid servant and gave her to Abraham to have a child ...they did...."Ishamael"...but no, this was not God's promised child...year later...Isaac came..."He" was the child...So, from that point on...there was amnesty between them...the bible simply puts it..."Isaac and Ishamael" will never dwell in the same tent...(I may be paraphasing it) meaning the 2 nations...Arabs & Jews will NEVER have peace. To this day most Arabs have Islam as a religion...don't be fooled..their religion gives them "carblanche" to kill in the name of their "Allah"...to get rid of Christians, and all other non conformists"...they are under the "dillusion" that "Allah" will reward such inhumanities in the next life...but to put it simple friend, if you don't know Jesus, they obviously don't, Hell is the destination on the "boarding pass"...so, for yourself...close your eyes, thank Jesus for your life, and turn it over to him...Amen!

Firstly, the Jews do not hate people who are peace-loving.

Secondly, it is the Arab world that have repeatedly rejected the hand of friendship offered to them by the Jews.

Thirdly, it is the Arabs who formed alliances with other mid east countries to try to destroy Israel.

Finally, the Jews have returned to their homeland. They will be in the State of Israel in its current rightful location for all eternity. Either the Arabs learn to co-exist or not at all.

Around the time of Mohammed, Jews & Arabs were not enemies but I think that the Jews weren't universally trusted. They aligned themselves with the tribes that opposed Mohammed and were on the losing side. Mohammed banished them from the region and they haven't forgiven muslims since.
