My friend girl whom I love dearly and we are so very close well she so loves her brother she says well she calls me up 2 months ago distraught cause she found out step dad basically abused him when he was a kid she got mad and hurt. I told her to go to counseling. but she only went 1 time never discussed with step dad her feelings. now fast forward to present week we had plans to go to a park but this step dad invited her to Panama City FL free trip and free booze. well guess who didn't go her brother she so loves. She didn't even ask her dad if he even invited him or not. She just jumped at the opportunity. is it just me or does it seem like she threw her principles and feelings aside for a free trip and free booze? Didn't even ask about her brother, didn't even think about it. to me that sounds so selfish and all about getting whatever I want F*** everyone else got mine sorry you didn't get yours is that the attitude here? what you think?

Well, if she was upset to find out her brother was abused years ago and then said yes for a free trip and booze now and did not invite or ask about her brother to go does not make it a wrong thing. What made this all wrong was the plans you two had and she blew you off for the trip and booze. RED FLAG!!!!! If you continue in this relationship what is going to stop her from being with you and she meets some guy who wants to party with her and you are left alone wondering what she is doing with this guy. Apparently she likes to drink and party and it's not so much being selfish it's just the way she is. Good Luck!!!!
