If you are sober (i.e. not intoxicated or affected by the use of drugs/alcohol) , then the elephants cannot fly by themselves!
If you are drugged, or retarded or have a serious mental illness or incredibly naive/credulous, then yes the elephant can fly and be pink at the same time.
If you are broadminded, and believe in science , the power of WILL and CAN, they the elephants can fly by putting them in a cargo plane, in the same logic when one says: "man can fly", to mean that since the invation of planes, he can travel by air.
If you don't know what an elephant is in the first place (and that might explain your inquiry that some people might consider to be a stupid question, but I don't) then obviouly you can imagine that they fly if it suits your desire, or that the elephants cannot fly if your desire change!! :)

Flying elephants are currently being employed here in Phoenix at the Circus Carousel brand of car wash franchises, where they are mostly used for the spot-free rinse cycle.
While most consider it cruel (they're paid peanuts) it's still great fun to watch!
