Regardless of tissue decomposition and loss of water, it was very clearly proved that there was an 18g loss of weight in the very moment of death. The experiment was repeated simultaneously in an intensive care unit, where people in coma (and brain dead as well) were kept alive by use of life supporting machinery. In the moment before turning the macinery off, the patients were taken to the weighing, and were kept there untill the death occured, after the shut off of the equipment. Difference of 18 grams was noted, at almost all the experiments (variations of a couple of grams occured in some cases).
The name of the hospital, where the experiments took place, was never revealed.

The actual pound for pound weight will be the same or similar. The perceived carry weight is significantly different because a live person can manipulate their body so as to hold on to you or curl up in a way that makes it easier for you to carry them. A dead person would literally be dead weight and much more difficult to carry.

Dead, becasue people swell when they die and there weight isnt regulated.
Likewise however, an alive person could intentionally "un regulate" there weight and make them feel heavier, although there not actually heavier.

Corpses lose water thorugh dehydration just as living people do, but corpses can't drink to replace that water. As a result a corpse will usually weigh slightly less than the person when they were alive.

It depends.
If the person was well-loved, the body becomes lighter by way of the love and sorrow focused in its direction.
If the person was hated, the body becomes exceedingly dense and exponentially heavier.

SAME weight. But get someone to help you with your wife. They always feel heavier when deceased.
