if u r concerned to the speed(bandwidth while browsing) then i will say that 98 is better. but still xp is better in the sense of its GUI . well if u wait till mid of 2007 u will get windows vista (the newer edition of our microsofts operating system) with longhorn as its server. that will b completly a new and great experience

XP, LATEST CAN DISPLAY MOST OF THE TODAY ADVANCE SOFTWARE , 98 is old and can't get latest update agai from microsoft, also the robust of xp, make it more flexible, or else 98 can be damaging for opening a particualr site all time,

Windows xp ofcourse cause simply xp is updated anyway. Wait a couple of months and get windows xp vista.

XP... 98 you can't get updates anymore from Microsoft. It's outdated.

personally im am so tried of XP with viruses and spyware im thinking of going back to 98..,. unless vista comes out this year..

you are clear that to browse the net you need some software like internet explorer or netscape right? cause those are just windows versions and don't really affect the browse.

i think windows 98 is better then xp becouse this operative system much friendly user. and if u udated with it much easy and not get nay problem

XP has a program in it caled system restore.You can use this to restor your computer after a virus has mest with it.Its like saying computer heil thie self, and it will.

windows xp is better because it is more safe and secure.

more over there is system restore option which can help when internet sites change our computer settings.

I believe win xp usually updated recent outcomes are fine. but my IT expert friend told me windows 2000 sp4 is great for web surfing.
