Now much older find they were not thinking about me anyway

Because I know at least two people who do--my husband, who proves every day that she loves me deeply, and my daughter, who literally can't go a day without seeing me or she's upset. She starts to cry if I say something like, "Mommy has a headache," because she knows that means I don't feel good. Also, my mother who calls me if there's the report of even the slightest tremor where I'm at, and who probably knows more about the geology of the different places that I've been stationed than the residents of those places, just so that she can understand and stay up to date on all of the information she might get about where I am. (Which can be annoying, but it's nice to feel cared about.)

Instead of asking people why they don't admit that no one gives a crap about them, why don't you try finding someone in your life who cares about you and relish that while you can. We are all limited in our existence here on earth; one day later may be too late.

If you really think that then I feel sorry for you..... why don't you take a shower, put on some clean clothes and go out and meet some real people then maybe if you are lucky you might not feel that way!!!!
