I work on a sea going vessel and my ship is about to undergo fumigation soon.. due to prescence of large number of rodents onboard .. I was wondering if anybody is aware of effective derating/ rodent removal methods that I can use onbard to get good results ?

the problem is I cant keep cats onboard .. and cant blow it or sink it either ... so come on ... suggest something ... fumigation has alrady started and results are not good .. please help !!!

one method that is safe and effective is to place pans of fresh coca cola in areas where the rats can drink it undisturbed. be careful, as this method will kill the rat: the carbonation in coca cola will cause death by distinsion, as a rat cannot burp or pass gas. good luck on your endevor. remember to put down fresh coca cola daily.
