Being a social animal and being lonely at the same time is probably his preference. He likes to go out and have fun with a lot people but doesn't want to be in a relationship.

Though man is a social animal, there are restrictions in socialising, he cannot socialise with everyone.....but it also depends on ones mood and nature, even if u have friends around, sometimes U may not like to be disturbed and want to be left alone.....there are people who have jolly kind of nature, they are comfortable with everyone and makes other comfortable too....so it depends on ones own nature, so if u want to socialise U should also take the initiative
