Muslims are the adherents to Islam, a universal religion. Islam means surrender to the will of God. Any person can become a Muslim as the faith does not discriminate because of colour, ethnicity or race. Having said that, the religion started in what is now Saudi Arabia in the Sixth Century when Muhammad, a merchant, got a series of visions and received the archangel Gabriel (Jibril in Arabic) who beckoned Muhammad to recite lines that became part of the Qur'an, the Islamic holy book.

Previously Muslims were Hindu and they used to pray and follow the Hindu Culture, but later by some how they changed or converted into Muslim I have heard about this in Hindu Mythological Book, But I'm bit confussed.

If you mean the origins of the religion, it’s today’s Saudi Arabia (Mecca and Medina are important Islamic places). The religion was created in the 7th century.
Most of the Muslims can be found in the Middle East, Northern Africa and Southeastern Asia.

its a religion spread all over the world.
it's just sometimes we're the minority.
you've probably just stereotyped us into thinking that all muslims wear/do certain kinds of things, so you cant see that we inhibit the globe all around.
