and please tell me is it possible to hack from a WIndows OS rather than Linux or Mac ?

it means that you have not configured any ip on the computer manually, and it will be assigned by the dchp server of the isp.

you don't have to do a thing if it is so configured, usually u don't need one if you are using an dialup modem.
but usually a must if using an internet with Ethernet( lan) or cable modem.

IP address 0.0.0.0 is a reserved site which does not exist. As far as hacking is concerned, if you know how to hack , you can hack from any operating system --- it just depends on your ability.

ip address 0.0.0.0 means an invalid ip... and its easier to hack into windows bocez there are more books and data available and there are infinite users...

it means you have not recieved an IP. if you use a router then check it, also check yur LAN card and also try this:-
Start > Run > CMD hit Enter Key > a black window appears
> type ipconfig /release
> then type ipconfig /renew
> then type ipconfig to check if you got an IP address if still not rec then contact your ISP...

its reserved this ip and cannot be used
is possible to hack from any kind of operating system,if u have the knowledge ..........but the hackers favourite is Linux

you can 'hack' from any computer (even a calculator if you like). Thats like asking "can I jump in New York and Deleware?"
