...In Netherland,they are planing to legalize pedophilia? Isn't this the wrongest thing to do? Doesn't anybody think about the children? Any comments? Are they crazy or what? i just can't believe... isn't anyone going to stand up and do something againts it? Why are there so little people that know about this?

The NVD is Europe's first political party dedicated to promoting and legitimizing pedophilia. In a press release, the NVD's spokesman and co-founder, Ad van den Berg said among their goals is lowering the age of consent for sexual activity from 16 to 12 and eventually eliminating it completely.

Ad van den Berg, founder of the NVD Party, told the newspaper AD that the party plans to lobby first to lower the age of sexual consent from 16 to 12 and then to phase it out completely. He said that pedophilia used to be something that people in the country were willing to discuss but, because of Belgian killer Marc Dutroux, they are all "being put in the same box."
"Forbidding makes children all the more curious," Van den Berg said. "Rearing is also about introducing children to sex."
He said that the party advocates only consensual sex.

I was shocked by what i saw on tv the other day. TV patrol reported about a certain group in netherlands proposing that pedophilia be legal. they were proposing that the age as to teens are allowed for sexual relations should be lowered down frmo 16 to 12.
i tried searching online and this is what i found:

I did not know about this issue in the Netherland or the NVD...
Can I add a comment/ question to this- I know there is a group here in the US called Gay Man Boy Love or something like that. I first heard of it on South Park and I thought it was a joke but then found it was for real.
From what I understand, they feel that pedophilia can be natural and is acceptable, like the NVD does. I don't know if they are currently taking actions to legalize it or lower and eventually eliminate age of consent.
But I wonder- how can the existence of these groups even be allowed? Not to be crude, but I am sure there is some sharing of graphic pictures and websites- I doubt they can have many intellectual conversations on the topic.
Just an extra thought- albeit somewhat meandering and unfocused- I wanted to add to your question... hope you don't mind.

Yes Grasshopper I to have heard of this troubling story! But they are just discussing it I hope and pray they won't even consider it as a law! We can't control what other countries do or don't do. Here in the USA we have laws to protect our children and they don't work! It is very sad and disturbing.

well if legalizing pedophilia is true then its obvious that they don't care for their children, that and so many people must be getting caught for it that its more of a " cant beat them join them" campaign if you live there get out while your children's lives and mental stability is still intact
