The best thing to learn Visual Basic or any other language is to download an e-book or buy a hard copy of it. Then go thorough chapter by chapter. And do hands-on practice. Sams teach your self Visual Basic 6.0 in 21 days is a good book. And 'Evengulous Petrotrous, Mastering Visual Basic 6.0' is another marvolous peace of work. There are enough resources in the net such as www.codeproject.com which I think as the best site for learning. By the way why don't you learn Visual Basic 2005 (.NET 2.0) which is far easier to learn. You can download a free copy of Visual Studio 2005 Express from www.microsoft.com and see the MSDN express help. Since you are a beginner, don't look standard MSDN help, you won't understand anything, so go through 'MSDN express' help which is specially designed for learning purposes and for students. You can develop games using any language.
