Sociopath - One who is affected with a personality disorder marked by antisocial behavior. Someone whose social behavior is extremely abnormal. Sociopaths are interested only in their personal needs and desires, without concern for the effects of their behavior on others.
psychopath- A person with an antisocial personality disorder, manifested in aggressive, perverted, criminal, or amoral behavior without empathy or remorse. A mentally unbalanced person who is inclined toward antisocial and criminal behavior.

They have the same meaning only sociopath was more fashionable for a while but now psycopath is again. It is a narcisistic anti-social personality disorder. Psycopaths are unable to empathise and lack conscience. However they can be very succesful businessmen and politicians. About 4% of males and 1% of females are psycopaths. There is no treatment for the disorder.
