How can I say this so the some of the people answering this question will understand. IRAQ WAS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOT THE 9/11 ATTACKS AND NEITHER WAS AFGHANISTAN.

Is that clear enough? Now given that they weren't responsible, whay are they being invaded? What could they possibly have that the US wnats? Oh my gosh! shock! horror! it's oil. Of course the US is stealing Iraqi resources.

Noone steals oil. It is bought and traded on the world market. The peoblem is that arab countries own the oil instead of arab oil companies. This means the countries that sell the oil make the profit instead of the money being pushed back in to the economy. The fact that people are dieing over there has nothing to do with oil and untill the arab countries make a concous effort to diversify their economy nothing will change. Places like UAE and Kawait are comming around and things will get better as time goes on if people stop blaming the US for everything and start holding their own governments responsable for the way they conduct buisness.

Probably oil was ONE reason for the war, however, the other cause is not about Osama bin Laden but terrorism. Afghansitan, Iraq, Iran and North Korea supports terrorists, and as 9/11 showed, only a few men can make a very big damage. The U. S. A.’s foreign policy now is to make the terrorists’ job as hard as possible at all cost.

yes, and killing thousands of innocent American men and women by hijacking civilian aircraft to smash into two buildings while they are just trying to go to work so that they can put bread on the table for there family's to eat is the answer, right ? You have a very twisted view of the world, the world does NOT want to do business with the Arabs because, they are a pain in the asss, so this should be compensated with by bombing the twin towers, right ?. The best thing in the world would be to nuke the mid-east, the world needs the parking spots ! soon fresh water will be worth much more than oil, then they'll all have there hands out for the U.S. to help them ! (AS USUAL) we are now all stupider because of this question !

Our oil reserves are running low and our country uses a whole lot of it. Those countries that have the biggest reserves under their feet are not our best Friends. What to do? What to do?

Personally, I wish we would have chosen to wean ourselves off of foreign oil. That would have cut the money that helps fuel terrorist activity. As an added benefit we would have taken a step toward slowing down global warming.

What ever the reason we went into Iraq, it must have been a real good one to match the sacrifice. Maybe one day we will all know what it was for sure.

Watch your lying mouth you fool.
What makes you think what you are saying is true?
It's just the a pile of dog dung that's coming out of you mouth and the sooner you realize it the better off you will be.
What gives you the right to say that we are doing this to any one at all?
We are the innocent ones who are also suffering but WE did not start this bloody war, not us and if WE had our way we would have NEVER left this country at all but WE were all forced to do it or else. Get the picture yet????
It was not an American who flew planes into the twin towers was it?
We did not go as suicide boomers and walk into buildings just to prove just how stupid we are now did we?
Our God doesn't believe to kill others makes us heroes and so we can get into heaven faster, only STUPID religions have this belief and that's because their government is more half baked then ours is.
Apparently you live in one of those half baked countries now so I suggest that you keep your lying tongue still from now on. Beacuse WE don't care to hear any more lies from you or anyone else, understand!!!!

Stealing oil!? The house of opec is charging what? Over seventy dollar a barrel when it only cost a fraction of that to extract and deliver crude oil. We are fighting in the middle east and southern Asia because we were attacked and can't afford the luxury of sitting back and defending. We tried that and look what happened. We are the largest foreign aid contribute to the world and we are somehow still the bad guys?

True. We should have never went into Iraq. We should cut off ALL government assistance to the Middle East. We should cut off ALL government assistance to Indonesia. Let them live on their own...

If we TRULY wanted the oil wouldn't it have made sense to let Saddam kill more muslims? He was doing a pretty decent job at it. If we stay out of the Middle East they will eventually kill each other off...thats what they do best. We can then move in and take the oil without a fight while Osama and his buddies are cornholing their 72 virgin camels in hell.

But very few of the americans have anything to do with the war thats going on over there derecticly/intentionaly. So it's not fair to blame them for antying going on... just the people in charge.

Actually, the west, including America, created those oil fields, outfitted them with equipment, staffed them, discovered the oil, had a market for consumption...

Then the thug-leaders nationalized the fields [in Iran for one]. So, technically, who's the thief?
