Try Restoring your drivers from your restore point this should work. somewhere along the line NERO INCD function is not picking up your drive. Please do not open your PC if you dont know what you doing person above has given you wrong advice. One must not do that if one dont know how to repair the PC.

Do you only get the message when you attempt to burn a cd?
If no...replace your burner
If yes...
Open the case and check cables, jumpers, etc.
Update your burn software.
Look for flash for your burner...some models can be upgraded like the bios on your motherboard.

mine does that too. I think it is because I play sims for so long that I'm starting to wear down the thing that reads the disc, and it is hard for it to recognize. Maybe you need a new disc reader thingie (obviously I don't know much about computers lol)

can u still paly normal cds like music and stuff? if that works try uninstalling the dirvers form device manager and then restart.

Your computer probably takes different disc there are + and - type cdr and dvd so try to find out which yours takes maybe its the + ones.

either there is already data on the CD or the CD is not compatible with ur burner.

it might be that you're using a disk too slw fro your computer to read, too small, in the incorrect format (not all computers accept RW disks) or your reader eye is malfunctioning.
...or your putting it in a read-only drive or upside down or something like that.

you need to check the disc for scratches and then check that the disc is in the correct drive

Restart your computer. If that doesn't work then IDK. I had the same problem. Everytime I wanna burn a CD, I have to restart my comp now.
