Okay this sounds odd...but it works!
Take 2 soup cans (unopened) and hold 1 in each hand. Put your arms out thumbs up and go up and down. Then act like you have wings and go from side of body up as high as you can go.
I promise...sounds easy but wait until you do it! Good luck

I've noticed that a lot of personal trainers like to have a 30 min work out session, and they don't let you rest in between sets. All they do is give you a good pump and burn calories so that you think your getting "bigger arms". Thats bull. Getting a good pump is important but theres more to it. Every serious weight lifter knows thatyou need to rest in between each sets.

Here is my great arm work out for getting big arms:

First train with a sweatshirt on (keeps the muscles and joints warm throught the whole workout), and rest inbetween each set

They say if you eat green tomatoes every day you will gain an inch to your arms, the problom is finding green tomatoes

If you have dumbbells(as I also do) then the best way to lose fat is... First: Stay away from fried foods! Second: Speak to a doctor before engaging in any workout. Third: Refer to the first step. Fourth: Adopt a workout plan. There are many different types of workouts that target certain areas of the body. If you specifically want to lose fat around the arm then I suggest a light weight(2 1/2 lbs. to 3 lbs.) with high repetitions(25 to 40 reps) for 3 sets. The exercise is called the dumbbell "triceps extension". There are other equipment you could use for this same exercise. I recommend dumbbells to start off with, because they require more support muscles in your arm to activate therefore burning more fat. Before you do it, you need to reference a picture of it first so that you do it correctly. "Form before fat!" Without correct form all you'll be doing is wasting your time. Carefully stretch between sets also. -willingness.

I don't know if your fitness instuctor has explained it you but it's quite simple. If you want to gain mass you increase the weights. But if you want to have tone and no mass - just keep the waits the same and continue lifting the weights. It takes time though. Because when you incease the mass the muscle helps burn the fat. Whereas just tonning can take 2 time s more time. But keep in there.

Punching a punching bag--both kinds--the body bag and the hanging bag.

You could also practice some kind of karate, like tae kwon do, or Tai Chi Chuan.
