Robin J - you have already received many wonderful answers and some not so good ones too. I agree that, if you are without hope, you may have a psychological or medical inbalance and it is important to rule that out by seeing a professional. When hope is gone, a person needs something to 'believe' in. Search your soul for a positive thought and let it flow further - into a belief. It could be as simple as looking at the stars and moon and realizing that many people are looking at the same stars and moon as you are. Remember, always, that you are not alone. Many people lose hope; just keep it temporary and find the unity of all things. United we stand, divided we fall. And love yourself, as you are loved. Bless you.

Well, there are two choices. You either end your miserable life, or you take a step in the right direction and reach out to others in need. Doing something nice for someone else, even when you feel you have nothing to give, is always rewarding, and you would be surprised at how much hope it will give you. Here's something that might help:

Oh , please.. do we have to throw God at the girl and make it sound like that's the answer?

As if God is going to come down and throw his arms around her and make everything better... 'cause gee, that's what he does, right?

That's why everything is so perfect in this world and why everyone that believes in him so much is such a perfect person, right?

Here's a better answer.

Take a good long look in the mirror at yourself and realize that there is hope. And there's hope because YOU won't allow yourself to think any more that there's not.

No matter what the situation is... or what predicament you're in... you don't have to give up... and you don't have to take it lying down.

Trust in yourself.. and trust in your best friends to be there for you.

Also it sounds like you might be a little depressed and there is NOTHING wrong with that. And that's nothing to be ashamed of.

But it is something that you can seek help for.. and you should if you have honestly sunk low enough to feel as if there is no hope.

The next thing to do is figure out what in your life is making you feel this way.

Boyfriend problems... job security (or lack thereof).. living situations... whatever it is, identify it and then rectify it... no matter what.

Then start living your life again.. for you.

And keep your chin up and just realize that no matter what it is.. it can't be that bad. It just can't. Only if you let yourself get down, will you get down.

Count your blessings - reformat your thoughts and think of good things that have happened to you. Do something you like, I know for me it's normally painting or listening to music, try not to get bogged down and become your own worst enemy, live outwardly, focus on your surroundings...
Do something stupid (but harmless) that you haven't done since you were a kid
Go for a walk on the beach at night
Look at children playing and laughing
Do an outdoors activity
Travel
Talk to an elderly person
Don't give up

ACCEPTANCE is the only answer to such a predicament. 99.9% of emotional problems (unless you have a recognized mental condition), stem from not wanting/wishing to accept reality. If you can truly accept WHAT IS, live in the NOW and take each day ONE AT A TIME, you will rid yourself of so much pain. In theory that's easy, in practice not so, therefore it has to be practiced daily and over time you can become adept at it. Even people dying of terminal conditions can find real peace and comfort. Immersing yourself in charitable work, helping others and getting involved with a local organization which cares for people is also a fantastic way of liberating yourself from emotional bondage - Good luck.

Ask yourself "WHY"? Do you know what is causing this feeling and is it constant or sporadic? Do you or have you checked yourself with a medical and or mental health provider. Sometimes feelings of hopelessness are due to overwhelming life circumstance. The battle is tough but it is well worth the fight! Sometimes it can be directly linked to medical conditions as a secondary affect. Know that there is always hope and believe that even when it is a rough ride! I'm cheering for you!

So far, the polls show Hillary ahead in Ohio by 10 points and a tiny bit behind in Texas with 7% undecided. I'm not sure she will win enough delegates if its that close. She mostly carries the rural areas which have fewer delegates while Obama gets the inner city folks which have more delegates. I'm still pulling for her to win.

you can't do anything to control what others do, so you have to expect anything. if they think you're no good, so what? there are a lot of people that think you're a wonderful person! if you have no hope left, i have hope for you. i don't know you, but i've been in the same situations as you, probably. i felt like i couldn't keep going and i was hanging on the edge with one pinky finger. until i found some people who helped me up. now i can keep going. so KEEP GOING!

You say you have no hope left???

Are you in I.C.U. with some horrible fatal disease?
Are you in prison waiting to be executed?
Are you in Ethiopia dieing of starvation?

If you answered yes to any of these questions then your hope is minimal.

YOU have to remember that YOU control the amount of hope that YOU have.

If YOU want to be with out hope then that is what you get.

Personally speaking I would face what ever challenge is in my way head on and make the best out of what ever I have.

That is called living life.

Saying you have no hope is called waiting for someone else to bail you out, and when it doesn't happen you are ready to give up.

It's your life YOU make it what it is...

So turn it around...
