My Niece is getting married to a man she met on the Internet. Next month.
Just be very careful and make sure the things this person claims is true before jumping into anything.
Meet around friends and in a public place, and don't leave with them alone for a while.
Get them checked out but a hire background search company.
Or someone who is equivalent.

If I was you, I would not trust the Internet. There are too many pedofiles and perverts out there just waiting for an opportunity to take advantage of a young girl.
How old are you? You better be very careful what your doing. Does your momma know what your doing? I think your looking for trouble chatting with people you have no clue who they are or anything. I recommend that you quit doing this immediately.
Honey you can find a guy other ways besides the Internet. The internet is too dangerous. Please take my advice because I only want the best for you. I don't know you but I care about you and I want you to follow my advice and don't do this anymore. I know what I am talking about because I have seen too many stories about these pedofiles on television. Stop please!!
God Bless You and you will find the right guy some day, don't rush it and stay away from chat rooms.

My cousin found a guy from the web. When you chat ask certain question and pay close attention the the response. Sometimes you can pick up on certain things. She eventually did the send pictures over email and then went via web cam. This might be a good way to actually see who you're chatting with and body language and voice tone, not to mention you can actually see if they're 55 years old, is a good way to see if someone might be truthful. Still it's a tough call over the web. Even in person people can lie to you and you wouldn't know. It's all based on trust and taking a calculated risk. Hope this helped.

Yes. Keep in mind that meeting folks on the Internet is like any other place. People give their best impressions up front. On the Internet, it can be tricky to those who are inexperienced with on line relationships. It's a good idea for young people to keep a parent near by for advice and those new to the Internet to seek the advice of one close to them with the appropriate experience.

I found mine on the net. We've been chatting for always a year now and he seems to be a nice guy. We're planning to meet soon. We chat everyday and sometime call each other on the phone.

Ur question is all depends on the level of confidence u hve with ur net friends. Not all net friends are bad and not all net friends are good enough to b as friends for ever. U hve to probe every day whther ur net friends are speaking true or not.
But remember one thing, dont chat with too many friends, bcos, u wll b confused of whom u r talking to and wat u had a chat on last time. So, if u want to hve a longer friendship in net, choose ur net friends and then chat with them as sincere as possible.
U wll b known soon, whther they are good in relationship or not

Yes but be very careful, research them, you can usually catch them in a lie if they are liars. I dated my internet love for 3 1/2 years and we have been married for 6. So it is possible, make sure you meet them in a public place and not alone. Good luck.

You must make an intensive communication with him and ask some questions to know his wisdom and his fair opinion on our daily matters and in faith. You must try to meet him in a real togetherness out of the internet and know his parents and his relatives, his education and his work.
