I suppose it could be, but does it really matter? If you strangle yourself to your death, then the fact that its illegal wouldn't really matter; since you'd kind of be, "unfit" shall we say, to serve time and or whatever for your infractions.

You might be able to get something on the dependants of the individual, though, if it is indeed illegal, not to mention whether or not it is determined if they played a role in influencing your decision to strangle yourself in the first place.

Attempted suicide is illegal. They will lock you up without a lawyer. A do not disturb note by a doctor will keep your family out. Using a flag will only attract the attention of more shrinks so they will want to study you even longer.

It could be saw as desecration of the flag, but you would pass out before you died unless you tied it in a knot or hanged yourself but dont do that because if you dont succed most likely your family or the police are going to lock you up in a hospital and trust me you wont like it there.

well.... i know tht attempted suicide is illegal but lemme tell u a fact: -
NO ONE, i repeat, NO ONE can commit suicide by strangulating himself. That's a medical fact
