Not sure about what search engine, but Air Arabiya has cheap flights from Sharjah to anywhere in the world, I think.

I suggest using Travelocity.com and choosing the flexible dates option for a list of all fares for the flight you need. But since many international airlines don't rely on online services or reservation system features to offer cheap fares, it is sometimes a very good option to know airlines serving the route you need and contact them offline.
