Edmonton in 7...Carolina seems quite deflated after losing game 5 in overtime while on the power play. They didn't want to make a return to the noisy confines of Rexall Center in Edmonton. Having to deal with injuries to some key players [Doug Weight and Aaron Ward are questionable for game 6] coupled with the raucous and hostile crowd in the Alberta capital, the 'Canes are certainly in a pressure-packed situation. No one expected the Oilers [8th seed in the Western Conference] to go far so there's no pressure on them. The 'Canes, meanwhile, finished 2nd in the East and have all the pressure on them.

hopefully Edmonton........ i think Carolina made a deal with the "devil" to win, the team has gotten away with too many stunts, apparently the refs are in it too, they conveniently forget to call penalties. GO OILERS GO!!!!!!!

hopefully, edmonton. just isn't right for a ice hockey team from the South (or West Coast) to win a sport that's played on ice.
