Niagara Falls is both a city and a waterfall. It spans the border creating Niagra Falls Ontario, and Niagara Falls New York. It is also the largest (not the tallest) waterfall in the world. It is also the source of a large portion of the hydro electric power in Ontario and New York.

Niagara Falls is on of the wonders of the world. It consists of 2 great waterfalls one on the Canadian side and one on the American side. If you ever get a chance to go to Niagara Falls you will not be disappointed, it is a sight you will always remember. I grew up 15 minutes away from Niagara Falls in Canada and never got tired of taking friends from out of town to view the falls. It is gorgeous in the summer and highlighted with ice that forms from the mist during the winter. BREATHTAKING.

It is a waterfall, on the US/Canadian border. The Canadian portion is by far the most spectacular. There are observation sites, and a boat, the Maid of the Mist, that actually goes under the waterfall. They issue you with raincoats and rainhats before you leave.
